  Sherlock is a British TV series created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss. It is a contemporary update of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes stories and is essentially the eighth wonder of the world. Stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman as Dr. John Watson.

  The entirety of Sherlock consists of only six episodes (90 min each) that first aired on BBC in Summer 2010. The first season is available on Netflix Instant. The second season is available on… various places on the internet, and has not yet aired in the US. If you do not have Netflix and don’t feel like ordering the DVD set just yet, you can sneak on over here to download all the episodes… shh, we didn’t tell you about this.

  So now that you’ve seen the three episodes and become hopelessly obsessed like us, you should know that a third series is due to be broadcast when hell freezes over and we all perish from brutal cold-turkey withdrawal NO ONE KNOWS. Filming of the third series will start late 2012. The only thing you can do to navigate this barren, Sherlockless wasteland is to spend time on Tumblr.
