Steven Moffat in his interview at Paris ComicCon
Interviewer: If you had a TARDIS, when and where would you go?
Moffat: Oh, I dunno. Everyone else in the world has a better answer than me right now. Never ask a happy man where he wants to go, I just don't really want to go anywhere.
Moffat: Maybe I would take some Sherlock DVDs back to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and see what he thinks.
Moffat: He'd probably punch me.

Sherlock does not have Asperger’s or Autism, Thanks - From 4 Psychiatrists

Four psychiatrists in the UK specialising in autistic spectrum disorders give their professional conclusions on whether Sherlock has autism or Asperger’s Syndrome:
- A consultant psychiatrist specialising in diagnosing autistic spectrum disorders in adults.
- A consultant child/adolescent psychiatrist
- A neuropsychiatrist currently researching Asperger’s Syndrome
- A consultant psychiatrist with a special interest in learning disabilities
There has been much debate on this topic but most of it is conducted without any expert knowledge. This meta aims to rectify the balance and make people aware of the real life negative consequences of suggesting that Sherlock has Asperger’s.
A Disclaimer Before we Start
I am a medical student, I know quite a lot of psychiatrists and I managed to interview some of them for this article. These psychiatrists have kindly given up their time to talk about this so please respect their professional knowledge and what they have to say.
I hesitated a lot about publishing this because I’ve had so much hate mail over my previous meta on the subject (Sherlock and His Asperger’s).
Why do we need this dissection? Because real people are being affected by the suggestion that Sherlock has Asperger’s or Autism. The writers decided to throw in the term “Asperger’s” in THoB, and while they may have intended it as a joke, many people including at least two real patients took it very seriously, which caused a great deal of distress to them and their families.
This meta is about making people aware that suggesting Sherlock has a certain disorder is both misleading and harmful.

SH a study in sheet - WIP III
Ok, I think I’ve made enough Sherlock in sheet for this drawing!
I didn’t think a lot about the composition, I just made them one after another, hope it is working. Next move, the shading.

For Let’s Draw Sherlock!
I am dedicating this to my best friend since childhood, who recently passed away very suddenly. She was excited about this project and was getting ready to show me her ideas but unfortunately I never got to see them. It’s because of her that I got into Sherlock, so this is for her.
